Project ECHO – Pfizer

Knowing how your breasts normally look and feel is an important part of detecting breast cancer early. Finding breast cancer as early as possible gives you a better chance of successful treatment. How many women have the right information to do this? Not nearly enough.

Project ECHO is a patient-centric initiative by Pfizer. The project is an attempt to build awareness from the grassroots level towards high detection, increasing capacity at regional cancer centres and improving access to drugs across different socio-economic sectors in India. The project was launched with 30 awareness and screening camps across four states.

Initiatives like Project ECHO ensure that a disease like breast cancer does not restrict women from living the full lives they deserve.
