Healthcare delivery in underserved areas is a huge challenge. The leveraging of resources in remote areas is extremely difficult.
Bayer Zydus Pharma, an OPPI member company, in collaboration with Karuna Trust, provides specialist care and treatment at primary health centers using the tele-health technology of ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes Model). The experts mentor primary care clinicians to help them manage their patients’ cases and share their expertise via mentoring, guidance, feedback and didactic education.
This initiative has provided significant solutions to the lack of healthcare access.
